The pink, too-small Barbie outfit, too cute by half (literally), was a nice step away from super-heroine clothes, but just wasn’t cutting it. So I went on a quest to find some clothes like the awesome fashion doll photos on the internet.
I looked, looked, looked until I came across an outfit that was PERFECT. Why was it perfect? I don’t know. It just was. I try not to think too much and just let my instincts tell me what to do. All I knew was it was perfect.
It was called LATTICE, displayed on the blog Margellen Doll Styles. A little bit of searching on the page and I found the link to Margaret Fletcher‘s site on Etsy. I contacted her to see if she would be willing to remake the outfit for a Phicen. Long story short, she said yes (!!!). Margaret was awesome, her work is awesome, and I plan to get more of her work in the future. Here is the WIP she sent me:
